Setting out the construction site

We set out elements such as elevation levels, sheet pile walls, pile walls, Berlin walls, soil improvements and earthwork contours. If necessary, we also install monitoring targets and measurement bolts to monitor settlement and movements of surrounding buildings.

Before and during construction, we determine the exact positions of piles, axes, basements and foundations. This allows you and your subcontractors to work accurately from the outset. Our surveying services are carried out on demand, ensuring you always have the correct dimensions when you need them.

After foundation piles have been driven or drilled, we measure deviations so corrective measures can be taken in time. We also set out prefabricated basements, foundations, reinforcement starters and anchors precisely.

Detailed dimensional control or setting out is required on every floor. If necessary, we therefore re-establish the axes and benchmark levels floor by floor. Tunnel form construction, masonry, concrete walls and prefabricated elements can all be dimensionally controlled with precision.

We also clarify detailed dimensional control using drawings that indicate the set out points and references.

We can indicate anchors, mark drill holes and measure reinforcement starters. This is done on floors, walls, roofs, steel structures, façades and canopies. If required, we can also work using your aerial work platform.

We set out pipe penetrations, lighting points and embedded fixtures. These are marked on ceilings, precast slab floors or floors.

We indicate reference points for, among others, suspended ceilings, anchors, lightweight walls, custom shapes, furniture and three-dimensional setting out.

Tolerances for curtain walls and aluminium, steel, prefabricated or natural stone façade cladding are minimal. Once the structural shell is completed, the axes are transferred, and deviations in the concrete structure are measured. We provide reports and survey drawings so any appropriate corrective measures can be taken.

In addition, detailed dimensional control or setting out is required on every floor during installation. We adapt to your planning and mark out floor-by-floor axes, façade lines, setting out dimensions and benchmark levels.
